EPHK aka Electric Pick aka Master Artist of the Cosmos was born in Paris in 1978 to a French father and Canadian mother. International shared custody meant plenty of back and forth across the Atlantic having attended schooling (and experiencing the culture) in both countries.

A seasoned world traveler, he moved his book shop/publishing company from (his favorite place to live) Hong Kong to Taipei Taiwan (for political reasons) where he spent two years plying his trade. Currently on year four of a two year trip to Berlin, EPHK’s next stop is Lisbon, Portugal at the end of the year. Additionally he spent 5 years in Copenhagen before Hong Kong.

A mysterious figure in the world of comics and art, EPHK’s stylings derive a certain nostalgia from the sci-fi EC comics of the 50s while carrying an incredibly refined modern style that somehow blends generations. From Sci-Fi erotica to universe spanning adventures to his own rendition of traditional comics, there is nothing that EPHK tackles that isn’t spectacular. His passion is evident in his work, but a quote from the international man of mystery himself tells the tale:

“I've been self publishing my comics and art books for 10 years this year. I also tattooed for over 20 years which I completely stopped doing last year. Tattooing was fine but my only true dream since I was 12 years old (and never gave up on) was to spend 100% of my time writing and drawing my comics. The way I see it I have more stories to tell than I have time left to tell them so there can't be time spent on anything else. I'm totally obsessed with making comics. It's the only thing I want to do with the rest of my time."
