AL
GOFA
At a very young age, Al Gofa was blasted by the cosmic ray of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the TMNT, and many other colorful beings who ended up creating what he calls his mythology. Then he discovered Walt Disney, not the cartoons, the man. That's when young Gofa started to understand he could also make worlds of his own. Mr. Disney is still his hero to this day...
Then… young Gofa discovered Japan and Anime filled with infinite loops of explosions, screaming muscles, and fusions early in the morning before heading to school. With his 90s X-men comics and his Dragon Ball mangas with him, what else could need to tackle this world?
Then came Art School with the drugs and the girls, but also men like Félix Vallontton, Edward Hopper, Frantisek Kupka, and Henri Matisse. Al Gofa was slowly, finally, really taking form. Spending all his time (and money) in bookstores, Al refined his tastes to something more subjective with names like Philippe Druillet, Frank Miller, Ralph Bakshi, Yuichi Yokoyama, Guy Peellaert, Vittorio Fiorucci, Gus Bofa, John Romita Jr, Mat Brinkman, Seichi Hayashi, Spain Rodriguez and many more.
Al Gofa was finally entering his final form…but then god came to him, and spoke only two words: Alex Toth.
Since then Al Gofa has only these two words to his lips. We don't know if he will ever come out of it.
